T-shirt Quilts/Blankets

Blending memories and art into a functional quilt to be loved and cherished for years to come.

Each quilt is unique!

There are many styles and options to consider.

Design Options:

  1. Quilt vs. Blanket Construction.

    • Quilt Construction - Involves a top, back and inner layer of batting. These are then quilted together and bound around the edges.

    • Blanket Construction - The top and back fabric are stitched together on the edges. It does not involve batting, quilting, or binding.

  2. How big do you want it? How many shirts do you want included?

  3. What layout do you want?

    • Basic Layout - basic grid of all shirts, cut into 12” squares.

    • Custom Layout - Based on shirt prints, squares/rectangles of different sizes.

  4. Do you want a border around the shirts on the top?

  5. What type of fabric do you want on the back of the project?

    • Cotton - Most common for Quilt Construction. Will last longer, won’t pill.

    • Fleece - Very soft, but will pill over time. Won’t last as long. This can be a great backing option for the Blanket Construction style.
